New Joinee in the Company !!!

Today as usual I started to office and when I was on the way, my personal assistant called me and had updated about the new joiners’ details. Out of the list of new joiners the name “Shagun” seemed to be so familiar to me and I was waiting to see the girl.....

After a 30 minute drive I reached my office and reached my cabin. I checked my appointments and To-Do List for that day. I conducted a video conference with my directors and had given the instructions to improve the performance of our delivery model.

At 11:00 AM , my personal assistant came to me and told that the new joiners were waiting for me in the conference hall for induction.

I said OK and proceeded towards conference hall. There was a group of 12 new joiners and all of them stood up to wish me. I wished them a grand welcome to our company, introduced myself as the Chairman and MD of the company, and asked about their names and experience details. One by one they told their names and experience details. Then it was Shagun's turn.

She wished all of us a very good morning and started to tell about her. She said she’s a fresher and she joined our company as a Junior Engineer. She dressed herself in sky blue churidaar, her hair was neatly combed and clipped. I could not turn my eyes from her… her innocent eyes and her charming posture made me to stare at her many times during that induction session. I hardly controlled my senses to hug and kiss her on her forehead.......

Being a Chairman of a company with 25 years of experience, I know that it’s not appropriate to think of hugging and kissing a fresher joined in my company. But I was mesmerized with her appearance. I got her mobile number, called her, and asked her to meet me after office hours.She said she had some training session till 6 PM and she wanted to leave as soon as it’s completed. But I insisted to meet me after office hours so that I can take her to home...

I finished my work by 5 PM and was waiting for Shagun’s call.

At 6 PM, I got a call from Shagun and she said her training is over. I asked her to come to parking lot and then I shutdown my laptop, locked my cabin, and vroooom towards parking lot....

I brought my car out of the parking lot and stopped in front of Shagun. She opened the backdoor and was about to sit. Then I asked her to come and sit in the front seat. She smiled and sat in the front seat.

After 20 minutes we stopped at my home and I took her in. Immediately after going in, I hugged her and kissed on her forehead and said “I am proud of you darling…”

Shagun, my sweet and lovely daughter smiled and said “ Thank you very much Dad”.

Though she is the daughter of Chairman of the company, she wanted to start her career as a junior programmer in her own company. She doesn’t want to take advantage of “Chairman’s daughter” post and she herself wants to build her career on her own.
