Modern Day Relationship : How it starts and How should it ACTUALLY start[ Part-3]
So the long wait for new day ended and as it was about time for Abhi to come and pick up Shagun from her place, Shagun messages Abhi that she would like to talk something urgent and personal with her, so he should directly meet her at Ambience Mall. Abhi understood that today he is going to get another round of lectures from her as he has been disturbing her a lot with his actions and loving talks. He planned that he would also show that he is form and he means whatever he is saying for past the past 1 week.
“See Shagun, I know what you want to discuss and talk about. Let me tell you one thing, I mean every word of mine which I am saying for past 1 week and I really love you yaar, why don’t you understand me…………” He wanted to say more, but Shagun, kept the finger on his mouth and said “ I love you too Abhi “. Say it once more……..say it Shagun please……….”Yes, you heard it right Abhi, I love you and I would be your gf”. A warm hug and the relationship starts………………………….
For the next few weeks, it was like dream come true for Shagun. Abhi cared for her, valued her more than ever, shoed his emotions, love to fullest, all what she had dreamt of getting from her future partner. Not a single day passed when she wasn’t put on cloud 9 by Abhi. Everything straight out from a perfect Love Story. Hanging out together, spending time together, seemed more special and valuable to both of them. Both of them in their thoughts acknowledged the fact that , yes indeed a relationship brings two people more closer and mere casual friendship doesn’t have that spark or thrill , what a relationship brings. “Wow, this is just a dream come true”, exclaimed Shagun. Abhi Got his wish fulfilled and he made sure, he did his best to always keep Shagun happy and every second be around her for any kind of support.
With weeks of pampering by Abhi, made Shagun really feel proud of her descion and she decided that now she is very much comfortable in Abhi’s presence. Now it’s her time to shower her love, care, affection and show to Abhi how much she values her. She started showing her emotions, loving feelings, peppy talks, care, consistent calling, feeling of possessiveness for him. This made Abhi feel that yes now in true self Shagun has accepted me as her bf. Both got more closer and the relationship became stronger…………………
Shagun now started giving more time to Abhi, neglecting other friend’s of hers, Why not after all he is my bf and he deserves my maximum time, she kept reminding her these words. But Abhi, didn’t feel the same way. He was still very much in friend circle and gave both of them appropriate time. Shagun in her possessiveness complained that she didn’t like Abhi mingling much with other female friends, but Abhi replied, come on Shagun you know them sweetheart, they are our childhood friends, don’t be jealous now. Shagun was really now getting into the mould of a perfect gf and insecurity was creeping in. Abhi, she felt, was now taking her casually and the sense of belonginess which existed in initial weeks was losing day by day. She tried talking about this to Abhi, they discussed, minor fights and everything back to normal.
Abhi already had a company of some guy friends who were all into flirting, eve teasing stuff, which Shagun never liked and asked Abhi to refrain from being them, but Abhi always ignored. Now Abhi’s friends, had all masti, chill out times with their own set of gf’s. Once while they all were out, one of the friend asked abhi. “ Hey man it’s been about 3 months of your relationship, how much close you got with Shagun ?” All laughed, but Abhi couldn’t get the meaning, Then they explained , “ hey dumbo, we meant did you get physical with Shagun or not” . “ Are you guys mad, don’t you know, I don’t believe in all this and Shagun is very conservative “ . “ Hey fool, she is now your gf not just a friend and in every relationship it happens, don’t you know” . The talks ended on abrupt note, but even after reaching home, thoughts kept lingering in Abhi’s back of the mind and he kept pondering whole night. He soon went into the world of lust, where he dreamt of making love with Shagun and fulfilling his wild fantasies. The very next day, he is up with his thoughts in front of Shagun and as expected, a tight slap on his face , brought him back to reality.” Disgusting, how could you even think about it? Is this why you wanted me as your gf? Is this why you showered all love, so that you could come close to me? Don’t you know I am not the modern day gal, but still believe in traditional way of love relationship? She just stamped her feet and went back home. But Abhi, kind of stubborn guy, won’t let her wordings influence her and he even made his point to her in sms. But Shagun was in no mood for all this. Silence crept between their meetings in coming days, Abhi seemed casual, Shagun could sense some sort of distance creeping between them. This was really worrying her and even after discussing with Abhi, he was ignorant about it and never gave any suitable reply. Shagun thought a lot about what all have happened in past few days and made up her mind” I can’t let Abhi go out of my life, I love him and I would do whatever it takes to make him Happy “ After all both our families know about each other and he is my future partner, so no harm in that and moreover, he might come more closer to me this way……………………………………………..
Snapshot till now : Casual close friendship of a guy and gal , changes into a relationship when guy out of the sudden feel he loves the gal. Gal doesn’t agree but senti, emotional talks of the guy make her accept and they start a relationship. Everything goes fine, love, care, emotions, over all a honeymoon period for both of them. With time, casualness creeps in, coz both the guy and gal didn’t start the relationship on mutual note and nowhere had any feelings for each other. It was a desire of the guy to have the gal as gf and it was comfort zone with the guy, which made gal enter into the relationship.
