Modern Day Relationship : How it starts and How should it ACTUALLY start[ Part-2]
Now finally, after a long thought, contemplating how would shagun react, Abhi early morning set on his mission to express his feelings/desire to Shagun to have her as his gf in his life. The day was going as usual, all friends met together and roamed here and there , hanging out, all chanting going on, but Abhi seemed restless. He wasn’t getting the opportunity to talk to Shagun alone and somewhere in the corner, Shagun realized that there is something which is bothering Abhi today and he is not in his usual cheerful self today. She tried asking him, what’s going on his mind, but he replied in usual self and ignored the topic, but he knew that Shagun is perfect in reading his actions and mind, he won’t be able to hide for long from her.
Whole day went just like that, with Abhi looking for chance to speak to Shagun and Shagun was somewhere trying to read his silence, but both were failing in their missions. Finally the evening came and time for all to go back to their respective places. Now is the chance , go for it, don’t hold back………were some of the thoughts going on in Abhi’s mind. Now it would be just him and Shagun, as he would be dropping her back home. Both didn’t speak a word with each other and the drive went on. Finally, Abhi decided ice has to be broken, and in flash of a second he said “I love U “ Shagun. Shagun laughed and said , I love You too Abhi, my best friend. This pissed Abhi off and he stopped the car in the corner in a jiffy. Shagun was puzzled , what happened, did she say something wrong, as this wasn’t first time they both have used these words for each other. Something is wrong somewhere.
Finally Abhi started the talks and explained Shagun that, he thought long over the night and he felt that he was truly in Love with her and wanted to make her his gf. He kept on blabbering how well she understand her, knows her in and out, she is the kind of a gal he wants as his partner and since they already are best friends, if they get into a relationship, that would add new dimension to their friendship and they would cherish each other’s company more and have a gala time. Shagun was stunned, she never expected Abhi to come up with such stuff. She regained her composure and tried explaining to him that she never thought about him that way in past, so how can she think that way now. They are sweetheart friends, but getting into relationship would hamper their great friendship and they should keep it that way. Abhi got stubborn and said that, no Shagun you don’t understand , having someone special in life is much better than having a casual friendship and this would be good for us. He kept on convincing her, but shagun who has never thought of any relationship in past, just rejected. Finally after an hour’s debate, Abhi dropped her home. Both of them kept thinking of the evening’s conversation and had sleepless nite. Abhi made up his mind that, he would do whatever it takes to make Shagun his gf.
Days kept passing, they would meet each other, but silence between them was increasing day by day. Abhi took every opportunity to come to the main topic and Shagun would just ask him to stop. Abhi resorted to all tantrums, sending her loving sms whole day, greeting her with flowers every day, crying on the calls, expressing how much he is missing her, stubbornness not to eat anything till Shagun accepted. Such actions of Abhi, was forcing day in and out Shagun to think about Abhi in the way he wanted. It was also unusual for her, because even though she longed to have someone special in life, she has never thought about any guy in past that way, even after getting proposals every now and then. Something she felt in her would give in to Abhi’s demand. She believed that “ When you end up doing things which you never thought, you would ever do in life, something positive would always happen”.
Finally, Shagun started thinking of Abhi and their friendship till date. She started getting all positive vibes that Abhi has always been there with her in think of her times, how much he cared for her and how he helped her clear her exams in past. She started thinking she knows Abhi in and out and they relay understand each other, share a good bond with each other. She contemplated that instead of having any stranger as bf in future, why not have someone, whom she knows personally and things would be rosy then. She somewhere down the line started feeling that Abhi was right that turning this friendship into a relationship, would make life more rosy and she would also have someone special in her life. She made up her mind that tomorrow, she is going to say “YES” to Abhi.
Snapshot: Abhi just got a desire to have Shagun as gf, nowhere did he have any feelings for her. It was his stubbornness that I want this gal in any way, that made him make Shagun senti with his talks and actions. Shagun, who always saw things in practical way, got carried away that best friend, can make a very good bf and no harm in having him as bf, as he is nice, caring and also values her. Did the relationship start on mutual note? Did both the partners in the relationship have feelings for each other ? Guy wanted the gal at any cost, coz he desires to and gal saw the comfort zone.
Will this new dimension of Abhi-Shaguns’ friendship go rosy way? Will Abhi be still possessive about Shagun as he was in past? Will Shagun get the same comfort zone as she has thought about it? Will this relationship go in right direction………………………..?
