Modern Day Relationship : How it starts and How should it ACTUALLY start[ Part-4]
“You have received a sms”. Abhi read the sms in half sleep which said” Gud morning baby, whts the plan for the day ? Wanna make the day somewhat spicy, if yes come over to my place in 2 hrs time when my parents leave for work. I would be waiting, Muahh”. He was not this much shocked when Shagun had accepted her proposal after days of neglect. He looked himself in the mirror and exclaimed “ That’s my killer instinct “. He couldn’t wait any longer to wake up and get ready and have a big day in his life, when he would be actually getting what he has desired in past few days.
Shagun greeted him with a big warm hug at her place, where Abhi reached in exactly 2 hr’s time. She could read his excitement from his face and nervousness too. She realized that Abhi was just motivated by some fantasy or sum talks from his friends, because she never expected Abhi to come up with such stuff, but anyways, she had made up her mind, so no second thoughts, After love says to keep your partner happy and value his happiness more than your own. Abhi even though in excitement had got carried away with his friend’s wordings and had blurted the same in front of Shagun. But he was happy that his senti , ignorant actions have again provoked Shagun to accept his wish and he kind of felt, she was very innocent and may be things would go his way in future too. As expected they had a great time in each other’s arms the whole day and winded up when it was time for her parents to come. Abhi thanked Shagun for such a lovely day and adding spice to their relationship. Shagun was thrilled that after so many days , she got what she desired from him, his true love and affection. But stupid gal didn’t realize he just did that in gratitude for fulfilling his wish…………….
So it became a regular feature now, whenever her parents would be out they would have a nice time in her house and cherish those memories. Shagun felt happy over her descion that her positive step has again brought back the old times and Abhi was more close to her and started being possessive even. She remember, Abhi telling her not to mingle with his friends, as he didn’t like it. Jealousy, possessiveness shown by Abhi propelled Shagun to be acceptable to all his wishes in future. It now became like that whatever came to Abhi’ s mind he would ask Shagun to fulfill it and Shagun like a obedient gf, in her true love for him, would readily agree. Every night she would just see they both getting married. Things were again rosy and distance had infact gone.
Now, Shagun started talking in practical terms with Abhi, talking stuff about marriage plans, how they would build house, what all they would desire. In the starting Abhi would be more proactive in answering all those stuff, but later he started ignoring that and would talk about close stuff. This was disturbing Shagun somewhere that, why is Abhi ignoring future plans when they both have to get married and they should be talking in that regard. At the same time Abhi had taken Shagun for granted, and he realized that Shagun would always keep him happy, so even if he shows slightest anger, she would be the one coming after me, so I can take things pretty casually.
Days kept on passing, limits getting crossed, closeness increased between them. Shagun started thinking more of future, marriage, partner stuff, whereas Abhi was more inclined to take things casually and just enjoy the time in hand and make memories to be cherished in future. He was liking the spice in the life. But things started changing when Shagun decided to talk about her views with Abhi and to her surprise, Abhi never took out time for those discussions but always be ready for any physical moment. Shagun started cribbing about it and making a point in every meeting that she is noticing a change in his behavior and he seems to be more inclined to masti, physical contact with her and not talking about any marriage plans. Abhi in a blunt way told her, I haven’t still made my career, a long way to go, please don’t talk such boring stuff with me, its pissing me off every day. Shagun literally wept whole night recalling Abhi’ s wordings. She conveyed her emotions to him in way of mails, sms, but Abhi already had made up her mind, she would be quite in few days, so better ignore it.
When things crossed limits and Shagun wasn’t taking any step back from talking about all those things, Abhi started losing interest in her. He felt that she is really getting boring now and there was no spark left. The same gal, same cribbing, same appearance, not even love making was spicy now, he felt he needs a change in life. Whereas Shagun was truly madly in his love and wasn’t able to make out, what’s wrong with Abhi and why is he being so negligent. Phone calls reduced, meetings reduced, distance creeped in, avoiding phone calls, all such actions of Abhi sent down alarm signals for her, somewhere down the heart she felt she is losing control over Abhi. She planned to make him happy by giving him a great romantic love making, but even that didn’t work and at the end Abhi, said its all routine now, you don’t have enough spark left Shagun, be innovative. Down and out Shagun, just would spend days in wilderness waiting for calls, which never came, loving words became a rarity……….
Snapshot : Casual close friendship of a guy and gal , changes into a relationship when guy out of the sudden feel he loves the gal. Gal doesn’t agree but senti, emotional talks of the guy make her accept and they start a relationship. Everything goes fine, love, care, emotions, over all a honeymoon period for both of them. With time, casualness creeps in, coz both the guy and gal didn’t start the relationship on mutual note and nowhere had any feelings for each other. It was a desire of the guy to have the gal as gf and it was comfort zone with the guy, which made gal enter into the relationship. Fights, possessiveness, conflicting viewpoints ( as they never talked about views before) brings distance between their relationship. Gal decides to go over the way and cross her limits to bring guy more closer. There is a feeling in gal that she can’t let the guy go away or be angry with her, so she needs to do what it takes to keep him happy. Gal thinks that by accepting all wishes of the guy, she would be able to get guy more closer. But the guy takes it in wrong way and takes the gal for granted. Since the relationship never started on the basis of feeling and more of attraction and comfort zone, at some stage things would fade with time, unless someone decided to revives it. Gal tried to make the relationship, more spicy, adding new dimension, but guys always want newness in relationship, lack of which make them swing at times………………………
